With the launch of Sticky Password 4.0 on November 24, and with the encouragement of a good many customers, we are launching the Sticky Password blog. Welcome to the inaugural post!
The blog will focus on passwords, password management and form filling, and online security in general. As I scan the daily headlines and listen to computer users locally and on my travels, I am often surprised by the fact that many people still do not seem to appreciate the importance of password security. Our hope is that this blog will get people thinking about basic precautions that will help keep them safe. Online security is important and we take it very seriously, but we will also use humor as food for thought and to bring attention to the latest news in the area of password security.
For those of who haven’t seen it yet, the Sticky Password forum has been available since the summer. While we do not put limitations on topics, it is probably natural that the threads have held pretty closely to support and technical issues. In addition to the FAQ section, the online forum is also a good place to check out for help with technical questions.
We look forward to blogging with you!

Any word on if and when Sticky Password will work with google chrome?
The Chrome browser was recently released by google. We are currently investigating supporting Chrome and will have more information in a few weeks. We’ll keep you informed as this develops.
Hello,
I’m usually the last to adopt anything. Cable TV, cell phones, everything. My job and my life have forced me to use a lot of different websites and it’s tough for me to remember all the passwords. I know that strong passwords are the best, but truth be told, I just wish the sites would let you use whatever you want. For example, I’d use something like “12345678″ for everything if they’d let me. Anyway, after I had to wait for 30 minutes to pay my mortgage bill last month because my bank was slow in emailing my password to me AGAIN, I decided to start surfing for an answer. I found RoboForm and Sticky Password right away and when I found out about all the extra stuff that Sticky Password does combined with the functionality and ease of use, that’s the way I went. I also really liked the look and feel of the Sticky Password website. It gave me a “warm-fuzzy” that the company isn’t some fly-by-night, here one day and gone the next, company and that makes me happy, considering that I’m entrusting all my passwords and critical data and information with them. Without letting this get too drawn out, I’ve been using Sticky Password for a couple of weeks now and could not be happier. I don’t have to fill in online forms or remember passwords anymore. I just click on what I want and everything is there and protected by more secure passwords than I’d ever come up with on my own. It’s the best purchase I’ve made in a while. I just wanted to say thanks for everything.
Happy Stick Passworder,
Mike
PS Oh, this time I’m not the last one to get a password manager and form-filler either. I told a few of my friends about it and after the shock wore off of me telling them about a new technology, they got it too.
I don’t usually reply to posts but I will in this case, great info…I will add a backlink and bookmark your site. Keep up the good work!
