Full Clipboard Encryption

Hello,

With the introduction of the Clipboard Encryption to SP 6, please add a full clipboard encryption by copying data with SP through Windows Contextual Menu or shortcut to enhance users' data protection.

Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your suggestion, we will discuss this within our team. It definitely sounds interesting but needs many resources, which are currently fully used for the upcoming version of Sticky Password.

What else - apart from the passwords, which ARE currently being protected in clipboard - do you consider being so secret that it needs clipboard protection?
Secure Memos? How exactly do you imagine it should work?

Hello,

Secure Memos will be the most concerned by this suggested feature.
SP 6 can protect data when copying it from the database and with this feature, it will be able to protect it as well when moving it to the database, making then data transfer to and from the database in a complete secure way.
As consequence, a comprehensive data protection against keyloggers and similar programs especially in risky places like the public ones.
With this suggested feature, I think that SP will serve again its users in term of security, by letting them use this extra security feature when and where it's needed, for SP related tasks and for anything else.

Thank you.
