Why do I need a master password?

Sticky Password allows you to store all of your password and sensitive login information in a secure encrypted format that only you can access and use! The master password that you created is your key that ensures that no one can get to your passwords and misuse them. Of course, you can change your password as frequently as you would like to ensure that it remains secret.

The master password is the password that you created during the installation and set-up of Sticky Password. This is the only password you will need to remember, and it is critical that you store it in a safe place. Without the master password it is not possible to unlock and access your password database.
