Rapport software is being used by on-line financial institutions to help prevent spoofing of websites. The software works by monitoring to see if the user tries to input the password information at a different site from the ones registered.
'Out of the box' Rapport blocks Sticky Password from auto completing password fields. This is NOT a problem with Sticky Password. The problem can be overcome by changing the settings in Rapport as stated below. This may reduce the effectiveness of Rapport so is done at your own risk.
The following was supplied by Rapport support and worked successfully for me;
Instructions for disabling protection from accessing information inside the browser:
1. Open the console (Start > Programs > Trusteer Rapport > Rapport console) 2. Click on the arrow icon to move to page 2 3. Click "Edit policy"
4. Insert the required characters
5. Change the setting next to "Block Access to Information inside the Browser" to "Never"
6. Click "Save"
7. Restart your computer
