Default browser after filling the quick launch box

Hi,
Internet explorer AND firefox are both installed on my PC (Packard Bell / Win 7 / SP 4.1.0.176).
After opening the "Quick launch box", IE is always lanched by default, even if I initially recorded the account with firefox. How can I setup SP using Firefox only after filling the QLBox ?
