Database on multiple pcs

If you use SP to multiple PCs, then it would certainly make the database accessible via DropBox for all PCs?

Yes, it would.
While the database is unlocked on any computer, it won't sync. Therefore, set the "automatic locking" to 3 minutes on all computers. The default is 10 minutes. If the computer you are working on the database is unlocked, lock it for a while and after the sync, open it again.
