SP causes 4-5% CPU usage

I'm currently testing SP 5.0 and really like it. However, when the SP icon is displayed in a window caption bar, then the windows task manager shows that DWM.EXE uses 4-5% of CPU. As soon as I exit SP, DWM.EXE goes back to 0%. I'm using Win7/64.

I tried it also on an XP machine, here I have a similar effect, but with explorer.exe.

Is there anything I can do to avoid this?

Second question: Do you use some kind of online activation? In our company, we are no longer allowed to use software that uses hardware based activation (except windows) and we're looking for an alternative to Roboform now (which uses hardware based activation). In other words, can we install and use this software when your server is down?

regarding the first question - we will check that and fix it. If we will need, we will ask you for additional information.

Regarding the second questions - no, all your data are stored locally on your PC, nothing is transferred to any server, so you are up and read anytime. You can activate our product with a license key, which we will send you and you can activate our product offline, no problem.

Which information do you exactly mean? How do I access this information?

The System info file can be found by :

1) Right-clicking on the Sticky Password icon in the System tray icon
2) Select Help
3) Click on "System info..."

A window will appear with the pertinent Sticky Password technical information that will be used to analyze your issue. NO passwords are included in this information! We do NOT know or collect any password information.

4) Click the Copy button and paste it in a response to this topic.

Today I did a system restore and a clean install of SP. CPU still up to 3-5% (dwm.exe) when StickyPassword is running.

Then I turned Aero off and the problem was gone. Seems that this only happens when Windows Aero is enabled, with the Basic theme I don't have this problem.
