Unable to log into http://www.sqlservercentral.com

Hello,

I am attempting to automatically log in to http://www.sqlservercentral.com and Sticky Password fails

A little background. There are several ways to log in to http://www.sqlservercentral.com. The first way is through the log in link, and the second way is from their separate log in pop-up page. The second way is having issues.

If for example, I click on this link: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/links/643338/272034, if you are not already logged in to the website, you are taken to a pop-up log in screen. I have my user id and password already setup in Sticky Password, but when I Sticky Password to automatically fill in the fields, it fails.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

which web browser are you using please?

Have you tried to create your account at https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Login?

Then Sticky password should log you in correctly.

I am using the latest version of FireFox.

Yes, I have an account and I can login via https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Login. The issue is that when I am not logged in, and I click a link from their site that was sent to me via an email say, http://www.sqlservercentral.com/links/643338/272034, a pop-up windows is displayed asking me to login. That is where StickyPassword will not automatically fill in the fields...

Hi,

to autofill the pop up dialog at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/links/643338/272034, it´s necessary to edit the account for https://www.sqlservercentral.com/Login (the current one). In Edit Account - Options tab, set the "Tie account to:" option to "Specific web page of the link above".

Then navigate to http://www.sqlservercentral.com/links/643338/272034, from the Caption Button menu select Web accounts - Add account and create an account for this site. Then navigate to Edit Account - Options tab of this account and select Define settings manually. In the opened Manual Form Edit feature, set the fields that you would like to autofill. Then it should work correctly.
