V4.0.0.87 Constant Balloon Tip on Password to ClipBoard

I am running Vista SP2 x64 Business, IE8, and SP V4.0.0.87. I am constanting getting the Balloon Tip about the password being placed on the clipboard when I go to various forum websites....this one included.

- The balloon tip occurs as soon as I go to the website.

- If I sign on to the website via SP, it appears again when the signon is completed.

- It occurs on every page change on the website when navigating various posts on the site. This also occurs after signing onto financial websites.

- It occurs when I log off the website.

Please note that I completely uninstalled and re-installed V4.0.0.87 and this did not correct the above problem.

My IE8 is V8.0.6001.18783, 32-bit which is the standard default on Vista x64.

Also, this problem was not occurring on the previous beta builds of Sticky Password.

I'm using IE7 and I also have the same problem with the Balloon Tip with the Password to Clipboard.

I also have another problem. Since it's quite annoying to have those balloon tips, I double-click on the SP system tray icon in order to disable it, then I re-enable it and my IE7 crashes. I didn't have that problem with the previous beta which worked great.

I installed the version you gave the link to.

It seems that the new registration code I received didn't work with that version.

I tested it and I got two errors which I sent the report by email.

I had to reinstall the v4.0.0.87 in order to have a "working" version, even though I still have that balloon tip showing up everytime I'm on a website that has a password associated to it. (its password automaticaly goes to the clipboard as well)

On Vista SP2 x64 with IE8 (32-bit), SP V4.0.0.89 does seem to have resolved the constant "password to clipboard" balloon tip issue. HOWEVER, it will not accept my registration key either.

I have two registration keys...neither of which work on build 89.

Key 1 is the key that I received when I bought a license for V4.0 several months ago during the Alpha testing.

Key 2 is the key that I received a couple of weeks ago for doing the beta testing.

How do we get a new key that works?

Did you installed the version 4.0.0.89 over the previous version 87 or did you uninstalled the 87 first please?

If you install it over 87, there is no need to insert the License Key once more, the product should be already registered.

The only key that should work is the one we sent you as a thanks for beta-testing. The older Keys of previous versions won´t work definitely.

I installed B89 over the top of B87. It still asked for the password....neither of which work. The one that you say should work in your PM to me does not work.

Is is because the B89 is a debug version?

Some bug with registration appeared in version 89 (it´s not released yet for all the testers) so please try to install this debug version:

Thanks for fixing both problems with build 90. Appears to be working fine now and license accepted on Vista SP2 x64.
