Upgrade from v5 to v6 but on new pc

Hi

I've looked at the FAQ but can't find anything re my situation.

I currently have v.5 on my old pc, and want to upgrade to v.6 on my new pc.

Do I copy and save the db from v.5 (as seen in FAQ re transferring the same version to a new pc) and then paste it into the new installation for v.6? Or is there something else I need to do?

Hi,

the best way would be to install Sticky Password 6 on your old computer, then to save the default.pws database file from Documents/Sticky Passwords folder and install Sticky Password 6 on your new computer. Then simply copy the default.pws file to the folder Documents/Sticky Passwords on your new computer.
