Opera 12 problem

Hello,

after upgrading my opera browser to 12v sticky password doesn't work properly. When I click on the sticky password opera button I see: Autofill plug-in not installed, so I reinstalled again but the warning is the same.

I see in the main settings the status: installed.
Please verify.

are you using a 32bit or a 64bit version if Opera 12 please?

32bit but I just tested 64bit version and I get an error that stickypassword plug can't be installed.

Hi,

our developers are working on this problem. The fix will be available in the next maintenance release.

It´s necessary to use the 32bit version. Unfortunately at this time Sticky password doesn´t support 64bit applications.

Just to let you know that I am experiencing the exact same SP plugin uninstalled snag as Aglar when attempting to use Sticky Password with Opera 12.00, build 1467, Platform Win 32. Sticky Password worked fine with previous Opera version 11.X.

I just upgraded from SP V 5.0.7.252 to SP V 6.0.2.326. I am still unable to install the autofill plug-in into Opera 12.0. SP is however working OK with Internet Explorer 9.X

So far I do like the new layout and interface of SP V 6.X. Kudos for a job well done...

Hello, I have just updated to 6.0.3.368 version. Opera support was added, but the problem is only partly fixed,because Opera doesn't work normally. It freezes when "Add Password" window appears, vertical scrolling also causes freezing and it's very laggy
It's lagging that much that I cannot normally surf the internet, even now, when I'm writing this message and trying to change the cursor position by clicking on mouse it takes 3-4 seconds for cursor to move.
Killing opera_plugin.exe (a kind of emergency stop of all plugins) in TaskManager solves finishes the lagging.

I really hope you fix that problem.

P.S. Changelog in Russian was displaying incorrectly in program update window (an encoding issue, looks like ASCII windows-1251 was displayed as UTF-8).

Yes please, send us your system information from systray - help - system info

opera_plugin.exe is not our plugin, so maybe the issue is somewhere else. Try to uninstall our plugin from Opera a try to use Opera again.

opera_plugin is a plugin wrapper proccess, isn't it? Anyway I disabled all other plugins when testing; I will try to reinstall, when return.

Hello. I have problems just the same, as at vit9696. I can't normally surf internet when Sticky Password plugin turn on, I have lags and my processor loading - 18-20% (intel Q6600). When i turn off this plugin, opera immediately start work great and processor loading 0-2%. Sorry for my English.

Looks like opera 12.02 from the dev branch temporary fixes this error....
Definitely Opera problem though.

For those having problems with Opera and SP, try disabling Opera's on demand loading of plugins. I've been having trouble getting SP to work with Opera and on demand loading ever ever since the devs introduced that featured (an awesome feature, by the way).

The checkbox in question can be found in Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Content. Unchek the "enable plug-ins only on demand" checkbox.
