Keylogger VS Sticky Password 6

Hello,

Does Sticky Password 6 has a protection against clipboard monitors? My friend told me that keylogger was able to log the clipboard when I paste any text from the Clipboard. That means keylogger is able to log the clipboard when I double click on a field of the password list (and password generator too) to copy its value to the Windows clipboard.

Hello,

sure, you just have to turn on the feature in Settings - General Settings - Ask before pasting password from clipboard.
Or you can use our Virtual Keyboard - that is the best protection against keyloggers.

Yes, I've turn it on. It will ask for confirmation like this:
"Do you want to allow your password to be pasted from the clipboard?"

..and then I click on YES to paste that password. But the keylogger can still log my password right?

Keylogger will only see "CTRL+V", so it will not log your password. If it will try to access clipboard, it will get value "[Sticky Password Protector]"

I try with keylogger, and it's actually works ok
Unfortunately, working only with "Sticky Password Generator", not with plain copy/paste passwords from .text file.

Btw, with keylogger I try it, he not grab value "[Sticky Password Protector]", just simple "v".

And you should not advertise your self with "[Sticky Password Protector]" in keyloggers logs, because you gonna be bypassed very soon. Be silent

As far as I know, keylogger can only log the keystrokes typed on the keyboard. It can't record the content in the clipboard.

Keylogger can track and capture all the content in the Windows Clipboard, if a user use hotkey CTRL+C, CTRL+V or select the copy/paste command from the system menu. It will directly record all the content of user copied.
