Hotfix for Firefox 18 crashing issue

- using auto-fill on often used websites
- waching lots of youtube-videos

Did that to.
Still no problems and i'am working the whole time with it now

Hello Marsellus, after we will find definitive fix for v6, we will port it to v5. Seems like the current fix is 90 % effective as some users still experience the crashing, but we hope for very quick fix and official release.

There are perodic pauses (not responding) when using SPW to enter a pw but it eventually catches up.

Crash for me wtih FF 18 and SP hotfix .
Return to FF17 ....

i had this first to that's what i did

Install this SP and used it on 17 = perfect to me
Then i upgrade to 18.0.1 = problems a lot but less then before
Reinstall complete SP and restart your PC don't ask me why just do
Now i'am working with it al over 1 hour and so far no problems FF18.0.1 with this build SP

I have :
- uninstall FF17 and SP 6.0.0.445
- restart windows
- install FF18
- Reinstall SP 6.0.0.445
.................. crash directly with the first tab !

well i'am back to ff17 with this SP version.
FF18 just .... it go's very slow on java and flash.
I have FF18 just separated to test with SP that's all more you can't do with FF18 or just use it for pages with only pure tekst.

I'm running FF 18.0.1. I ran the SP update, but I'm still having crashing issues. Any suggestions?

The update did not work for me on FF 18.0.1. If i disable the SP add-on altogether in FF, no problem.

At 1 point i got a 'Script is taking too long to respond' message in FF from a path that included 'Lamentine', I terminated that script.
Disappointing to think its SP doing this (apparently) to FF.

I have the same problem, I use Firefox 17.02 or google chrome by waiting the next hotfix ...
Don't try Firefox beta 19 : crash !

Now... after some days working with FF 18.0.1 and FF 19b2 I can say.

Both are working perfect with SP 446.
BUT: I had to reinstall the browser-plugins via SP-Settings.

No memory leaks anymore.

I am working on a Windows 8 Pro 64bit - System.

Sticky Password 6.0.7.436 has been released and it does resolve the FireFox 18 crashing.
