16 February, 2005 - Sticky Password 2.0b released We are glad to announce the release of Sticky Password 2.0b. This version introduces several important features and major user interface changes. General information: Sticky Password can associate passwords with the windows which require them. It can remember any windows, not only web pages For example you can stick two different accounts to the MSN Messenger login window and easily switch between them. The password and login are automatically filed to the appropriate fields. This looks like the passwords are virtually sticked to windows like paper notes to your monitor, but they are available only when you unlock the Sticky Password's database. Sticky Button - is the main improvement in this version. It appears on the header of windows which have sticked passwords and allows you to manage the account.
Automatically filled passwords - is the another improvement. If you haven't disabled this feature and you have only one password in the account - the password will be automatically filed to the appropriate window fields as soon as window appear on the screen. Passwords Database Manager - allows you to manage passwords much more easily than it was in previous versions. You can:
Database lock time-out - now you can setup the Sticky Password database to be locked after the specified time-out of computer inactivity. So you can work once entered the master password to unlock the database, but it will be locked as soon as you leave your computer alone. The new features are coming. |
