19 April, 2005 - Sticky Password 2.2 has been released

We are glad to announce the release of Sticky Password 2.2.

General information: Sticky Password automatically fills login and password fields in web forms and usual dialog windows. It has an unique feature named "Sticky Button" which appears on any window that had password saved for. Careful backup feature will keep all your passwords safely stored until you will need them. Also Sticky Password allows to have multiple logins and passwords for a single account and there are many other useful features.

This version introduces several important features and major user interface changes:

Web-browsers support - this version introduces support of Mozilla Firefox web-browser and fixed bugs in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The passwords are remembered by web site URL and filled automatically when Sticky Password is unlocked and you opened the remembered URL.

Virtual keyboard - this feature allows you to protect your passwords against keyloggers and "fishers". The passwords which Sticky Password remembers are not available for them because they never appears on the screen and you never type them on keyboard, but your master password is the only password which you need to type on keyboard. When you use our virtual keyboard, keyloggers will not be able to stole your master password.

Sticky Password icon double-click action - when you click twice on the main Sticky Password icon (near the system clock) it usually unlocking or locking the passwords database. Since this version you can configure this action to the following options:

Lock/Unlock passwords database (default)
Open Database Management window
Open Search Password window

Reduced memory usage - now Sticky Password uses much less of computer memory than before.
