The "clipboard."

Post by kentar9 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 4:47 am

I'm having trouble with my manager entering passwords automatically. When I try to copy and paste, a note comes up, that the info, "has been copied to the clipboard, and use Cntrl + V or context menu to paste it to the password field. This does not work. It pastes in the words "Protected Password" or such. What is "context menu?" There is nothing in the directions about that.
Why is it so frequently failing to function?

Apparently you are using a 64-bit operating system and have the "Ask before pasting password from clipboard" option turned on.
This feature works only with 32-bit applications; if you try to paste the password to 64-bit application, only the "[Sticky Password Protector]" text is pasted. See ... 174#p97174 for more details about how it works.

The easiest solution for you would be go to Settings and on the General settings page uncheck the "Ask before pasting password from clipboard" option.

BTW, see for explanation of the "context menu" term.
