You can prevent specific executables (*.exe) from running w/windows registry. Is that what you need? Or just uninstall?

"Uninstall is out of question here, I bought it is because I use it."

I guess I wasn't clear! What I mean is SP6 Pro is installed on a computer with 4 users but I am the only with access to it.
How to restrict it from opening for the other users (asking for master password)... In others words it will only popup and only for me.

About registry... Could you please be more specific?

Please see attachment for better understanding.

Here's one workaround.

In Settings/General Settings, uncheck "Start Sticky Password at Windows startup". Now it will not autostart for anyone.

To make it start for just you, create a shortcut on your Desktop to the executable "stpass.exe".

Then copy/move that shortcut, into your personal Windows "StartUp" folder...

On Win 8, you will find that here:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp

Reboot and check your login. If that works, and it should, logout and check alternate user login.

I perfectly understood what you said and I did it... Surprisingly it still opening for the others and to be sure I uninstalled and start over and again I end up with the same result.

So, there most be a call somewhere (maybe in registry) but I can figure it out.

I've temporarily "lost" my Sticky Pro v6 machine, so I'm using a v7 install of a Sticky Desktop only to comment now....

You should check your users registry files at:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

just in case there is a Sticky setup executable lurking there (I'm not sure these keys are used by Sticky, but many installers use these locations).

If there is nothing found there, then the registry may provide an answer elsewhere...

The main registry key for autostart is

HKCU/Software/Lamantine/Sticky Password

There you will find "AutorunProduct"... set it to zero... "0" (no quotes)

For INDIVIDUAL USERS look under each HKEY_USERS key (only the long ones, ex: S-1-5-21-131482648-8711583905-687257890-1004) for the subkey:

\Software\Lamantine

As before you will find "AutorunProduct"... set it to zero... "0" (no quotes)

If you don't see each of your user's keys here under your login, you may need to run regedit under each user's login, and check that "AutorunProduct" is set it to zero.

Hopefully this last detail will do what you're seeking

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-131277136-2950421105-318619090-1002\Software\Lamantine

We nailed it!

I found a key for every user as follow:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
"StickyPassword"="\"C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sticky Password\\stpass.exe\" /autorunned"

As soon as I deleted it the problem was gone.

But still a mystery why that key was there if I already had it unchecked "Start Sticky Password at Windows startup".

Anyway problem solved!

Thank you. :D
