This applies to Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional with SP V184.108.40.206.
SP V220.127.116.11 interferes with SnagIt 12.1 and causes SnagIt Editor to hang in memory and it cannot be closed except via Task Manager.
SP causes Microsoft Management Console hangs when working with the Task Scheduler, Event Viewer and other MS utilities. The hang shows up in the Event Viewer as Event Id: 1002.

When this occurs, I have to exit SP from RAM, manually close the hung mmc.exe and restart whichever utility I was working with. Then I can successfully work with the mmc.exe utility without further problems.
This problem is occurring on different Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional computers that I own. So it does not appear to me that it is machine dependent.
