Default browser ignored

Post by chaosxian » Fri Feb 28, 2014 3:49 pm

Chromium is my default browser, yet when I use Sticky to launch a site, it insists on opening Chrome. I verified that Chromium has ALL defaults enabled, and that the Sticky entries prescribe default (or open) browser. Yet Sticky seems to have a mind of its own. What am I overlooking.

Can you check what is set in one of your accounts settings? Go to the Account details to the database, click the "gear" icon on the top right position and see what is in the "Default browser" value

Most, if not all, of my entries settings say "System default or current browser" Task manager shows no instances of Chrome running, so that's not "current browser". Even if Chromium is running (current browser) it is ignored by Sticky.

Chromium shows all possible defaults as checked under Win8.

If it matters, Chrome used to be my default browser until a few weeks ago.

Hi,

Sticky Password doesn´t work in Chromium that will be the problem. That´s why Sticky Password probably doesn´t recognize your browser as default.
