Sticky Password Pro 6 & Windows 8

Sticky Password Pro 6 & Windows 8

Postby freddylef » Tue Nov 20, 2012 12:01 pm

There is no caption button in the internet explorer in the classic desktop version nor in the new windows 8 version 10.
On some websites the automatic fillin does not work for example with the Hotmail login page.
Can this be fixed?
I use Windows 8 Pro 64-bit version.

kind regards

Hello, we are currently working in this issue and it should be fixed soon. Lets say in a matter of weeks.

Thanks for understanding.

We have just released new Sticky Password builds which should resolve this issue.

- implemented toolbar for all supported versions of Internet Explorer – it is a workaround to resolve an issue with IE10 running on 64-bit OS where it is not possible to integrate via Caption Button

Thanks for the new release. The caption button is now showing in the internet explorer 10, although it is not showing in the apps version of internet explorer in Windows 8.
Kind regards

What is meant by the "apps version of IE"? Do you mean the IE for modern UI (formerly Metro UI)?
If yes, then it's correct and expected behavior - Sticky Password supports Windows 8 only in Desktop Mode (as stated on the website).
