SP 6 Causes Outlook 2007 To Crash on Launch

Postby Phils » Mon Feb 25, 2013 2:06 pm

I just upgraded today from SP5 to SP6. Now I find that with SP running, MS Outlook 2007 32 bit crashes when I open it. If I exit SP and then open Outlook, it opens fine. Then I can reopen SP and both run OK.

I do have an autologon program from work installed for exchange that might be the source of the conflict. I do not have Outlook configured as an application in Sticky Password.

I'm running Win 7 64 Home SP1.

So what do I do?

Is there anything I can do to set up Outlook as an App in SP6 without a password so that it does not interfere at all with Outlook starting up?

I could also send you my autologin program from work if that is of any interest.

Hi,

could you please add Outlook to the list of Ignored apps in Sticky Password Settings . Ignored applications?
