Using One-time PIN codes to identify your new device

The devices authorization policy depends on your authorization setting which is to be found in the Sticky Account tab called Settings - section Authorization.

If your authorization setting is „One-time PIN“ a secondary authentication (next to StickyID and Master Password) is required when connecting a device to your StickyAccount for the first time. In such a case a One-time PIN is sent to your StickyID (e-mail) or Alternative e-mail (if specified) and must be entered after your StickyAccount credentials (StickyID and StickyPass) have been entered. Once the PIN has been entered, the device will be added to the trusted devices list.
