What is the Clipboard protection feature? (Windows)

Windows

The Clipboard encryption feature “controls” your passwords copied to the Clipboard.

When a password is copied to your clipboard and Sticky Password detects a command to paste it, it automatically asks you to confirm if you really want to paste your password. By allowing you to double check where the password will be pasted, this increases your security and prevents possible theft of your password while being in the clipboard.

This feature can be enabled/disabled in the Sticky Password User Interface window – Menu (in the upper right corner of the window) - Settings - General settings – Ask before pasting password from clipboard.
