Installing the Sticky Password extension in Chromium based browsers on Windows

A workaround is available to help when attempting to install the Sticky Password Chrome extension in selected Chromium-based browsers: for example Vivaldi and Torch.

Important note: this is an unofficial workaround and we cannot offer any support if it does not work on your computer or if any problems occur.

Prerequisites

To install the extension on the Chromium-based browser, Google Chrome browser must also be installed on your computer.

How to install the Sticky Password extension

1. Install the Sticky Password extension in your Google Chrome browser.

2. Open the following URL in your Chromium based browser.

3. Click Add to Chrome.

   

4. Confirm by clicking Add extension.

   

5. Now confirm that you want to allow the extension to connect to the Sticky Password application Click OK.

   

6. Click on the Sticky Password icon in the upper right corner of your browser and confirm the Sticky Password warning about unknown extensions, click Allow.

   

7. Icon can appear to be hidden by the browser inside of the Extension Menu. You can easily pin it to your browser toolbar.

8. Done! Now you should see the colored Sticky Password icon in the upper right corner of your browser.
