In an effort to retain customers, Yahoo is changing their policy on allowing their customers to use 3rd party sign-in credentials on Yahoo properties. Yahoo will begin forcing users of their popular online services to use a Yahoo ID instead of their Facebook or Google credentials.
For many this will mean having to create a Yahoo ID, which plays into Yahoo’s announcement last year that they will be recycling Yahoo user IDs that have been out of use for over a year. This means that users of Yahoo services like Fantasy football will have to add another set of credentials for a new Yahoo ID to the ever-expanding list of logins and passwords that they must remember.
The use of a password manager like Sticky Password will help make the transition for customers easy.
