How to manually add new Web Accounts into Sticky Password on Windows

Whenever you are online and visit sites using your favorite browser(s): Sticky Password will recognize when you are logging in to websites, or need help filling in forms. To take full advantage of form-filling functionality you should start by adding your Web Accounts into the Sticky Password application.

There are three ways how to add a new Web Account into Sticky Password:

• import (from your browser, other password managers, Sticky Password exported data);
• automatically while browsing;
• manually in the application.

In this FAQ, we'll show you step-by-step how to add a new web account into Sticky Password manually.

1. Click the Sticky Password icon in the lower right corner of your desktop (the ‘system tray’) to unlock the Sticky Password application.

   

   Or, open the application by double-clicking on its icon on your desktop.

   

2. In the main window click on Web Accounts.

   

3. Visit a website you’d like to save in Sticky Password and copy its link.

   

4. Go back to the Sticky Password application. Click on the Add Web Account button.

   

5. In the application window that opens, paste the copied website link, change the Account name, enter your login and password.

   Click Add.

   

6. Now that the account is saved in Sticky Password, you can launch the website directly from the application.

   

💡 Note: the color icon means that Sticky Password is working for you.

Every time you log in to one of your accounts saved in Sticky Password, a pop-up will appear offering to autofill your login and password.
