Why does an inactive Sticky Password Caption button appear on my Google Chrome toolbar on Mac?

Mac

Because of the way the Chrome Web Store synchronizes extensions, it may happen that you’ll see two Sticky Password Caption Buttons at the top of your browser. When the Sticky Password for Windows extension is installed in your Google Chrome browser and you sign in to Google Chrome, the installed extensions are synced to your Google Chrome browser on your other devices, including any Mac OS X devices that you log into Chrome on. Please note that only the extension is synced and not the application.

This Google Chrome extensions sync feature is the reason that a Sticky Password for Windows Google Chrome extension may appear in Google Chrome on your Mac. Please ignore or hide it on your Mac - Sticky Password for Mac has it´s own Google Chrome extension which may be installed from Preferences.
