Sticky Password supports fingerprint authentication on iOS and Android devices. Now you can unlock your password database on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets that are equipped with a fingerprint scanner.
Run Sticky Password. Tap the Menu button in the upper right corner and select Settings.
Tap App Protection.
Slide the slider for Fingerprint protection to the right to activate the feature.
Enter your Master Password to make changes and tap Unlock.
If there are no registered fingerprints on your Android device, the fingerprint manager on your device will appear to walk you through the steps to register your authorized fingerprint. The following example is for a Samsung device:
Tap the + in the upper right corner.
Read the information about registering your fingerprint, and tap OK to continue.
Now swipe your fingertip downwards over the Home key 8 times, as shown below.
The fingerprint manager on your device will prompt you to create a password that will be used as a backup in case there is a problem with your fingerprint. Create a password to use as an alternative to your fingerprint and tap Continue.
Confirm your password by reentering it, and tap OK.
The next screen will let you know that your fingerprint has been registered. Tap OK.
Now that your fingerprint has been registered and enabled, it can be used to unlock Sticky Password. Exit the device fingerprint manager by tapping the back arrow in the upper left corner, and return to Sticky Password.
With Fingerprint protection activated in Sticky Password, you'll be able to unlock the app with your fingerprint. Swipe your fingertip downwards over the Home key to unlock it.
You're all set! Now you can unlock Sticky Password using only your fingertip. Of course, you can also use your Master Password. Note: tapping the Alternative password field allows you to enter the backup password you created above in the device's fingerprint manager.
