I have accidentally deleted or changed one of my accounts. Can I get my data back?

Windows

Sticky Password automatically creates encrypted backup files before it makes any changes to the password database.

Sticky Password Premium:

There are two methods for retrieving changed or accidentally deleted password data in Sticky Password Premium.

  1. To restore your passwords from an earlier version of the database, right click on the Sticky Password icon in the systray - select Open Sticky Password → click on the Sticky Password Menu (in the upper right corner of the Sticky Password User Interface window) → select Tools → click on Restore to find your backups arranged by date. Select the appropriate date and click on Restore.
  2. You can also use your StickyAccount to restore your passwords from an earlier state of the database. Login to your StickyAccount at my.stickypassword.com, select Settings tab – My Data section and under Restore from a cloud backup you will find your backups arranged by date. Select the appropriate date and click on Restore from a cloud backup.

Sticky Password Free:

To restore your passwords from an earlier version of the database, right click on the Sticky Password icon in the systray - select Open Sticky Password → click on the Sticky Password Menu (in the upper right corner of the Sticky Password User Interface window) → select Tools → click on Restore to find your backups arranged by date. Select the appropriate date and click on Restore.
